Though the JEE mains exam was being conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) till 2018,  but the upcoming JEE that will held on 2019, will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The JEE has a vital part as it is Important to get admission for NIT, IIT, CFT etc. NTA has decided to take the upcoming JEE on online base completely there will be no pen paper exam.

The upcoming JEE Math syllabus contains: Sets, Relations and Functions, Complex Numbers and Quadratic Equations, Matrices and Determinants, Permutations and Combinations, Mathematical Induction, Binomial Theorem and its simple Applications, Sequences and Series, Limit, Continuity and Differentiability, Integral Calculus, Differential Equations, Co-ordinate Geometry, Trigonometry, Vector Algebra, Three Dimensional Geometry, Mathematical reasoning. So to complete these huge syllabus students need proper guidance. Students only get 14-16 months after class 10th exam to complete this huge syllabus that is nearly impossible to cover up. Only proper guidance will help a student to complete this huge syllabus in such short time period.

The new test pattern of upcoming JEE Main, 2019

Mr. Abhijit Ghosh, the math faculty of Aims says about the new JEE test pattern that, since 2018 JEE was being conducted by CBSE but the upcoming JEE will be conducted by NTA. So there is a little bit difference in the exam pattern. In the upcoming academic session the engineering entrance exam will be conducted twice yearly. NTA will conduct the first JEE main in 2019 for admission to undergraduate programs in NITs, IITs and other technical institutions. The paper 1 of math, physics and chemistry for B.E. and B.TECH will be computer based test only. The paper 2 of math and aptitude test for B.arch / B. Planning will be computer based test but the drawing test will be pen paper based.

How to prepare for math for the upcoming JEE Mains 2019?

Though the math syllabus is huge enough still students have to go through some steps to complete this huge syllabus. Only after then a student will be prepared totally for the upcoming JEE. Mr. Avijit Ghosh, the math faculty of Aims, has also given some tips to get better preparation in math for the upcoming JEE.

  1. At first students have to complete the syllabus of class XII as soon as possible.
  2. Students have to revise the topics of class XI also that is related to the JEE syllabus.
  3. Beside NCERT Math books students have to practice any standard book ( Arihant / MTG/ Cengage / Others ) or study materials of any institute to cover up the whole syllabus of JEE.
  4. Students have to be familiar with the previous years’ questions so that students can understand the standard of the question papers of JEE (Main & Advanced).
  5. Most important part of the preparation is that at first student have to give some part tests and then they have to give at least five full tests.
  6. During preparation for JEE students have to be focused. Better, if he/she will be away from social media like Facebook, WhatsApp etc. that can break the concentration.
  7. Last but not the least, to get chance in NIIT or IIT students have to work hard and to be focused towards his/her target. Everyone has the talent and hope every student will be successful.

How a student can get score better in mathematics in the upcoming JEE?

The math faculty Mr. Abhijit Ghosh also said about the steps that students have to do exactly to get better score in math. Such as;

Firstly, the candidates who will give JEE on January, they must have to complete the syllabus within October.

Secondly, students have to prepare a regular base routine to utilize the time properly for JEE preparation and along with that students have to practice by giving part exams on math to reach on the best level. Then students have to find draw back and have to emphasize on it and students have to keep it in mind always that he/she have to be prepared in an advanced level than the previous exam level.

Finally, on December students have to be prepared by giving Full tests by which they can complete the total preparation and along with this students also have to keep the knowledge about negative markings. As there is no chance for guessing students have to read questions carefully and have to give answers correctly.
