Indian Space Research Organization aka ISRO is the birth place of many eminent Indian scientists. From Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam to Vikram Sarabhai to the most controversial space scientist Nambi Narayanan. On 1st April,2021 the trailer of Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is released. It is R. Madhavan’s debut movie as a director. The nearly 3 minutes trailer shows a promising story inside the biopic of Nambi Narayanan. Madhavan portrayed the character of this famous space scientist from the age of 27 to 70 and apart from graying his hair all the major changes of his physical feature has been done with immense dedication of the actor. This film is co-directed by Prajesh Sen, who directed the Malayalam movie,Vellam. The trailer starts with an interview of Nambi Narayanan and gives us glimpses of the difficult journey that the Space Engineer went through his entire life.
The film is being shot in India, France, Princeton, Russia & Scotland. It talks about how a passionate and talented official of ISRO was being falsely accused of espionage and got arrested in 1994 and how this affected his and his family’s life. this film is shot in four different languages Tamil, Telugu Hindi & English. The Hindi and English version has Shah Rukh Khan in a cameo and the Tamil & Telugu version has famous journalist Surya in the same role. It is going to be a cool big screen affair this summer. Apart from Madhavan , who essayed the lead character, it has Simran & Ravi Raghvendra in important roles.
