Keeping these issues in mind, that is, against religious divisions and to give a message of purification of the mind by rising above greed and lust, two plays, ‘Shiv Mandir’ and ‘Brishti Elo’, are going to be staged in Kolkata.
The plays ‘Shiv Mandir’ and ‘Brishti Elo’ directed by Kunaljit will be staged at Tapan Theater on May 23 (2026). The play ‘Shiv Mandir’ is written by Subhankar Chakraborty and the play ‘Brishti Elo’ is written by Swapan Das.
Biswajit Chakraborty will play an important role in the ‘Shiv Mandir’. However, Kunaljit will act in both the plays ‘Shiv Mandir’ and ‘Brishti Elo’. Other important roles will be played by Subhra Rupa, Amit Roy and others.

Kunaljit, a well-known actor of small screen and big screen, is going to make his debut as a director through these two plays, he said in a press release.
