Jupiter Defence Private Limited was allotted approximately 256 acres at Jangal Sundari Karmanagari Phase II Industrial Park, Raghunathpur, Purulia, for West Bengal’s first major integrated defence manufacturing facility, at the ‘Allotment of Land for Industry’ programme hosted by the Department of Industry, Commerce and Enterprises at Milan Mela Prangan, Kolkata. The programme was graced by Shri Suvendu Adhikari Ji, Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal, as Chief Guest, along with Guests of Honour Shri Tapas Roy Ji, Hon’ble Minister-in-Charge, and Smt. Moumita Biswas Misra Ji, Hon’ble Minister of State.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Murari Lal Lohia, Chairman Emeritus, Jupiter Wagons Limited, expressed his gratitude to the Government of West Bengal for its support and commended the state’s renewed focus on industrial development.
