Showcasing its guiding principle of “By the Leaders, For the Leaders,” the CII-Suresh Neotia Centre of Excellence for Leadership (CII-SNCEL) successfully hosted the inaugural edition of STRATEGIQ: Business & Leadership Quiz on 17th November at its premises. The initiative received an enthusiastic response from leading corporate houses and premier business schools across the country, with 47 teams battling through several challenging rounds to emerge victorious. The quiz offered an exciting and immersive experience, keeping participants fully engaged and energized throughout.
The competition was won through a brilliant performance by the duo comprising Mr B Naveen Kumar and Mr Jayakanthan representing Team Sai Mitra Consultants – TCS (Tata Consultancy Services). They were closely followed by the First Runner up team Mosedu – IIM Kolkata represented by Mr. Samanyay Banerjee and Mr. Piyush Kedia. Team ESPN & Ernst and Young was the 2nd Runner Up team and teams from Barclays & HCL Technologies, Trivia Tales & HDFC Life and Fujitsu – Unstop came in at 4th, 5th and 6th respectively. The Heritage Institute of Technology earned the accolade of Best B-School Team.
The event was expertly conducted by renowned quizmasters Mr. Titash Banerjea and Mr. Auritro Chowdhury, who combined incisive questions with wit and humor. Their innovative and thought-provoking questions tested participants’ acumen in business, leadership, and critical interpretation, elevating the competitive spirit of the quiz. After a preliminary round, Mjunction, Bokaro Steel, and two teams from Bhilai Steel Plant qualified for the Semi Finals, for a place alongside the top 4 teams in the finals.
Building on the success of its debut, STRATEGIQ: Business & Leadership Quiz has swiftly established itself as a premier business quiz on the Indian national competitive stage.
