City’s Noted Philanthropist and Entrepreneur Rajendra Khandelwal Writes a book on Karma

The much-anticipated book launch of Karma – The Winner by Mr. Rajendra Khandelwal took place on 31st August with great success. Blessed by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shanker Ji and published by Virasat Art Publication, the book has struck a chord with readers, offering profound insights into the spiritual lessons that every religion discusses, along with real-life anecdotes from Mr. Khandelwal’s own professional and personal experiences. The book, while not religious in nature, addresses the existential crises many people are facing today, making it highly relevant in our current times.

The Book Launch Ceremony was graced by an esteemed lineup of guests, including His Excellency Mr. Haymandoyal Dillum CSK, High Commissioner of the Republic of Mauritius in India, Padma Bhushan Usha Uthup, Padmashri Harshvardhan Neotia, Sanjay Budhia, Alokananda Roy, Shuvaprasanna Bhattacharya, Swami Vedatitananda of Belur Math and many other distinguished personalities who added to the event’s grandeur.

Mr. Khandelwal opened the book with a powerful message:
“Do not worry for the decisions of God, but your KARMA, that shall not spare you, anyway.”

Karma – The Winner is a reflection of the life lessons Mr. Khandelwal learned through his own struggles—whether facing poverty, leaving a secure job to start a business, or battling health issues, including cancer. Despite these challenges, he managed to maintain his inner peace, largely due to his spiritual beliefs, particularly the philosophy of Karma as reflected in the Bhagavad Gita. The book’s narrative style, centered around the story of Arnav, who rebuilds his life after the tragic loss of his wife and child, resonated deeply with the audience. Each chapter of the book concludes with real-life anecdotes from the author, adding authenticity and relatability to the spiritual teachings.

Mr. Rajendra Khandelwal, known for his philanthropic efforts and as a successful entrepreneur who founded the Dhanwantary Chain of Pharmacies in Kolkata in 1984, has always been a passionate social reformer. His commitment to social causes like the Girl Child Education Programme Sukanya, and support for organizations such as Rotary International, Iswar Sankalpa, Bengal Organ Donation Society, and the Indian Federation of United Nations Association, was highlighted at the event. His first book, Life is a Celebration, was a tremendous success, and Karma – The Winner is already receiving similar acclaim.

The event concluded on a high note, leaving attendees inspired by Mr. Khandelwal’s journey and the powerful message of his book. Karma – The Winner promises to be a guiding light for those seeking answers to life’s toughest questions, offering hope and wisdom for navigating the challenges of modern life.
