On 23rd March, Genius Kids School successfully hosted The Little Genius Show & Awards 2025 at Madhusudan Mancha, Kolkata, celebrating the city’s rich cultural heritage under the theme ‘Kathaye O Sure… Kollolini Kolkata’. The event brought together children aged 2 to 10 years, who mesmerized the audience with an enchanting blend of storytelling and music, embodying the artistic essence of the city.
The show highlighted how Kolkata nurtures creativity, compassion, and social responsibility, as young talents from Genius Kids and underprivileged backgrounds shared the same stage, fostering inclusivity and unity. Beyond the spectacular performances, the event also honored distinguished individuals for their remarkable contributions to society. Among the awardees were Ms. Usha Uthup, who received the Lifetime Achievement Award for her legendary impact on Indian pop music, and Mr. Manoj Khemka, Founder & MD of Bazaar Kolkata, recognized for Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility.
Other honourees included Mr. Kishan Kejriwal, Chairman-MCKV Group of Institutions as the Edupreneur with Compassion, Ms. Urmi Basu, social activist for her contribution and Excellence in Social Upliftment, eminent paediatrician Dr. Jaydeb Ray for Excellence in Medical Support, Actor-Producer-Director Mr. Arindam Sil for Excellence in Driving Social Cause, Mr. Raj Chakraborty as the Filmmaker of the Year for Shontan, and Mr. Anirban Aditya managing director of Aditya Group for Excellence in Crafting Innovative Delight.
