Grandmaster Dibyendu Barua Visits Anupam Halder’s 7th Photography Exhibition

“Capturing rare moment in photograph is more challenging than giving a checkmate” said India’s Second and West Bengal’s first Chess Grandmaster Dibyendu Barua while visiting photo artist Anupam Halder’s Creative Photography Exhibition on 3rd October at Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata. It is Mr. Halder’s seventh photography exhibition. Exhibition was unveiled on 28 September and will continue till 6 October. Visitors can visit this exhibition every day from 3 pm to 8 pm.

Standing beside Grandmaster Dibyendu Barua, Anupam Halder said, “Mr. Barua’s appreciation and response to my photographs at the exhibition inspires me to click better photographs in future.”

Grandmaster Dibyendu Barua was accompanied by Mrs. Panchali Munsi, Joint Commissioner of Revenue, Govt. of West Bengal. After listening to Grandmaster’s appraisal on the exhibition she said, “I and Anupam were surprised by Dibyendu Barua’s love for photography. We never expected such extensive reactions on photographs from a Chess Grandmaster.”
