In a heartfelt celebration of Durga Puja, Holiday Inn Kolkata Airport on 4th October unveiled one-of-a-kind Chocolate Durga idol in the presence of children of the Hope Foundation, the Chief Guests of the afternoon.
The occasion was also graced by Guests of Honour Ms. Wangmo Lepcha, Station Manager – Druk Air, Mr. Swarup Rattan Chakraborty, Regional Commercial Head – Bhutan Airlines, Mr. Raja Sadhukhan, Principal – IHM Kolkata, Dr. Vivek Pathak, Founder Director – NIPS, Celebrity Chef Rongon Neogy, and Mr. Tathagata Neogi, Co-founder and CXO – Immersive Travel Technology, Mr Shrayans Jain, Vice Chairman, Jain Group and Mr Rishi Jain, Managing Director, Jain Group.
Crafted from premium Dark Chocolate, standing tall at a height of 12 feet, this idol has become a symbol of creativity and compassion, bringing people together during this festive season over the last seven years. The Chocolate Durga idol, a masterpiece of culinary craftsmanship, was brought to life by artisans Raju Das under the expert supervision of the Chefs at Holiday Inn Kolkata Airport. The team worked diligently for over a month, dedicating relentless hours each day to create this magnificent structure.

The Chocolate Durga will be on display till Sunday 13th October 24, at Holiday Inn Kolkata Airport.
Holiday Inn Kolkata Airport will also be offering a mega Pujo Special Buffet, ‘Utsober Bhoj, Holiday Inn Roj’, which will keep on changing every day. Priced at Rs 1499/- plus taxes, per person, the buffet will be served over lunch and dinner from 1 pm to 4 pm & 7:30 pm to 11:30 pm starting from 9th till 13th October, 2024.
