This year institute has formulated the exhibition with the theme of ‘DIMENSIONS’. Design is impossible without dimensions, keeping this in mind institute’s students used all three as well as the fourth dimension in all their exhibits. Keeping One dimension in mind, our students created spaces using lines depicted by Strings. Interesting patterns are created using threads & cords along with UV lights, which created a surreal experience for the visitor.

INIFD Saltlake has been awarded as a Platinum centre across the globe for its state-of-the-art infrastructure, industry-academic delivery, and 100% job placement assistance year after year.

The students of this institute get direct entry to London fashion week, Decorex Interior Fair, New York fashion week, and Lakme fashion week. Our design institute is a star in the world of Interior and Fashion Design carrying a legacy of more than 28 years.

Students created & developed Furniture designs in the category Furniture, step by step from 2-dimensional drawings transformed into 3-dimensional forms. Each student group in this category has its own concept behind every design.

Another group of talented students trudged back into History, creating Fantastic Landmarks of Asian History, in the category of Retrieving Memories again using 2D drawings & 3D models. Students have also proposed some restoration Ideas for these heritage buildings. Interior designers lean heavily on dimensions i.e. Anthropometric Dimensions. In this category, ‘Humensions’ students are physically showing different Anthropometrics with the help of life-size human figures made with wire mesh, in intricately curated interior spaces.

Third-year students of INIFD Saltlake decided to use the fourth dimension, i.e. Time, in retail designing. Some of the famous brands are shown here as experience centres for the Journey through Time.

The underlined objective behind this celebration of design is to inflict aesthetic sense along with technical accuracy, into students. Students are talented enough to create a mind-boggling Maze with a selfie booth as the destination to reach. The whole exhibition space, throughout institute’s sprawling campus, is designed & decorated by senior students, including the gate, corridors, different utility areas, stage, etc.

To make the exhibition more interesting throughout these three days, Institute is organising talk shows, cultural activities, debates, etc. The Grand exhibition will conclude with the award ceremony.
