ITC Sunrise Spices, one of India’s leading spice brands, is excited to announce the overwhelming success of the ‘Ghore Ghore Durga Contest’, which saw a massive participation from 1500 Durga Puja pandals across 23 districts of West Bengal. The contest, which invited Puja committees to creatively showcase the essence of Bengal’s rich cultural heritage through the iconic Dashabhujo song, culminated with the announcement of the winning pandals on the auspicious ninth day of Durga Puja.
After an intense evaluation process that began with 1500 participants, the contest narrowed down to 50 finalists, whose pandals were judged based on cultural representation, idol design, thematic innovation, and their overall depiction of the grandeur of the Pujo. Following on-ground visits and final deliberations, the winning pandal emerged, capturing the heart and spirit of Durga Puja traditions with their outstanding creativity and dedication.
Chaitanyapur New Star -Purba Medinipur, Subhash Polli Durgapuja – Jalpaiguri, Bandhani Bayam Samity – Howrah, Bhattacharjee Para Durga Pujo – Murshidabad and Kalyanpur Adi Puja- Paschim Bardhaman were crowned as the Top 5 winners of this contest, showcasing extraordinary artistry and an unparalleled representation of the Pujo culture.
