The vibrant city of Kolkata witnessed the culmination of Sahitya AajTak 2024, a literary extravaganza that captivated audiences with its diverse line-up of events and distinguished personalities. Organized by the India Today Group, the festival brought together renowned authors, poets, singers, and performers to celebrate the richness of literature and culture.
The event, held at Swabhumi The Heritage, showcased an array of captivating performances and insightful discussions across two stages. The “Halla Bol Chaupal” stage witnessed the presence of eminent personalities such as Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Babul Supriyo, Shatrughan Sinha, Swanand Kirkire, and Shailesh Lodha, who enthralled the audience with their performances and thought-provoking insights.
Meanwhile, at the “Dustak Darbar” stage, attendees were treated to engaging discussions on various literary topics, including social media’s impact on Hindi literature, the intersection of time and literature, the significance of translation, and the essence of Bengali literature. Notable speakers such as Pallavi Pundir, Sarada Banerjee, Joya Mitra, and Jayanta Ghosal graced the stage, sparking meaningful conversations and reflections.
The festival also featured musical tributes, including a mesmerizing performance by Armaan Khan paying homage to Ustad Rashid Khan, and a grand finale musical performance by Papon, which left the audience spellbound.
