The leading National Level Technical Bonanza of the country-ConnecTech-which sees the highest number of participations in technical contests all across India, organized by the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Kolkata | Jaipur, was held in UEM Kolkata campus on 11 January 2024.
The competition invites various school students across the state to participate in the different technical competitive events and win various prizes (financial awards and trophies) along with winning the Champions’ & Runner-up Trophies for the schools with the best performances.
The program was inaugurated by Shri Babul Supriyo, Hon’ble Minister-in-charge, Dept. of Information Technology & Electronics, Non-Conventional and Renewable Energy Sources, Govt. of West Bengal, as the Chief Guest. Hon’ble Chancellor Prof. Dr. Satyajit Chakrabarti, UEM, Kolkata | Jaipur, Hon’ble Vice- Chancellor Prof. Dr. Sajal Dasgupta, UEM, Kolkata, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Biswajoy Chatterjee, UEM, Jaipur, Hon’ble Pro-Vice- Chancellor Prof. Dr. Satyajit Chakrabarti, UEM, Kolkata | Jaipur, and many delegates from the industry was present. The Competition is expected to witness participation of 1000+ school students from leading schools of West Bengal. The programme consisted of biggest National Inter-School competitions.
The Champion School Trophy was won by Bhavan’s Gangabux Kanoria Vidya Mandir. The Runner-up Trophy was won byy Salt Lake School.
