Two leading hospitals of West Bengal, Narayana Hospital, Howrah and RN Tagore Hospital, Kolkata have received ‘The Gold Seal of Approval’ from JCI for meeting the highest quality and safety standards in patient care. JCI has awarded their accreditation to both these hospitals of Narayana Health group individually, in addition to conferring Enterprise Accreditation for the Group. Narayana Health has become the first healthcare group in India and the 6th healthcare player globally, to receive an Enterprise Accreditation from JCI.
Both Narayana Hospital, Howrah & RN Tagore Hospital underwent rigorous evaluation by a dedicated four-member global JCI surveyor team, with an in-depth audit assessmentat each hospital. These assessments meticulously scrutinized over 1200 parameters, covering patient care processes and norms governing clinical excellence. Additionally, comprehensive group-level evaluations and audits also were conducted to check compliance with JCI Enterprise standards.
