Education Interface 2026, organised by Career Planner Edufair, commenced at Netaji Indoor Stadium on 16th May with a grand inauguration ceremony attended by eminent dignitaries, students, parents, academicians, and career aspirants from across the state. The three-day education and career fair will continue on 17th and 18th May 2026 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Sajal Ghosh, MLA, Baranagar Constituency, Purnima Chakraborty, MLA, Shyampukur Constituency, CA. Hari Ram Agarwal, Vice Chairman & Chairman, EICASA, ICAI, Smt. Manoshi Roy Chowdhury, Hon’ble Co- Chancellor of Techno India University & Co- Chairman of Techno India Group, Shri Taranjit Singh, Hon’ble Managing Director of JIS Group & Chancellor of JIS University, Prof. Samit Ray, Hon’ble Chancellor of Adamas University, Shri Satyam Roy Chowdhury, Hon’ble Chancellor of Sister Nivedita University, Founder and Managing Director of Techno India Group, Shri Anish Chakraborty, Hon’ble Chairman of Seacom Groups & Chancellor of Seacom Skills University, and Shri Alok Tibrewal, President, Krishna Dayal Education & Research Academy & Chairman, Ruby Park Public School.
The three-day education and career fair brought together reputed universities, colleges, educational institutions, and professional organisations from across India under one roof, offering students direct access to career guidance, counselling sessions, and detailed information on higher education opportunities.
Aspiring students from across the state actively participated in the fair to explore diverse academic and career opportunities through counselling sessions and direct interaction with educational institutions. Students from diverse academic backgrounds also interacted with representatives from leading institutions to gain insights into career prospects across fields such as Engineering & Technology, Medical Sciences, Pharmacy, Management, Information Technology, Media Sciences, Aviation, Hospitality, Design, Architecture, Polytechnic, ITI, and various vocational and professional courses.
