Actress Pallavi Chatterjee has lost more than nine lakh from her PPF account due to some alleged fraud. Like every other year when this year Pallavi went to her Bank to deposit a cheque for her PPF account, she was told that her account has been closed. As per actress’s statement After repeated follow up with the private bank she was told that the PPF account has been closed as ‘Death Claim’ and an amount of Rs.9,17.000/ has been transferred to an savings bank account of the claimant.
Pallavi shared all details about the incident at a press meet on 1st April. She also has filed a case at Karaya police station.
“On the other hand my earnest request to all my media friends to inform and present this particular incident that has happened to me does not happen to others. I am sure that, I am not the only one who has experienced such a terrible & shocking incident, I would request all of You to spread the word around and create awareness by writing about it”, said Pallavi.
