Golden Tulip Hotel Unveils Exquisite Poila Boishakh Menu

The Golden Tulip Hotel at Saltlake, Kolkata welcomed the advent of the Bengali New Year, Poila Boishakh, with the grand launch of its special festive menu ‘Naboborsher Mahabhoj’ on 10th April. In a vibrant event that captured the essence of Bengal’s rich culinary heritage, the hotel’s renowned restaurant, Antipasti, unveiled an array of traditional dishes, reimagined with a modern twist.

The launch event, held in the hotel’s opulent restaurant, was attended by journalists and food critics from city’s prominent media houses. The air was thick with the aroma of spices, setting a festive mood that was quintessentially Bengali.

The ‘Naboborsher Mahabhoj’ buffet and thali menu features a tantalizing array of starters, mains, and desserts. Highlights from the menu include Kumro Fooler Bora, Topshe Fry, Macher Dimmer Bora and Lassuni Chicken Tikka in starters; Mocher Chingri Paturi, Swadey Thasa Bhetki Bhaja, Aam Roshe Bhora Kasha Murgi, Classic Mutton Rogan josh, Bhaja Masala Aloor Dum, Dhokar Dalnar Bahaar, Karaisutir Kochuri and Basanti Pulao as main course; Chutneys include obvious bengali choices like Kacha Aamer Chutney and Aamsatta Khejurer Chutney; Desserts include the tangy sweetness of mishti doi and the creamy taste of Baked Ragulla.
