Set to honour the outstanding achievements in Bengali cinema, this prestigious event will shine a spotlight on the remarkable performances witnessed in films released between January 2023 and December 2023. Scheduled for March 29, 2024, at the grand venue of ITC Royal Bengal, Kolkata, this glittering affair promises an unforgettable evening, attended by luminaries and talents from the Bangla film industry.
To kick-off the highly anticipated ceremony, a virtual press conference was held on March 26th, 2024, marking the beginning of this magnificent celebration. Actor Koel Malik, alongside Jitesh Pillaai, Editor of Filmfare, Sunil Agarwal, and Poulomi Roy from Joy Personal Care came together to unveil the details of this spectacular event. Sharing their insights and anticipation for the upcoming celebration, the esteemed panel set the stage for an electrifying celebration of Bangla cinema.
JOY Filmfare Awards Bangla 2024 will be an evening adorned with talent and glamour, led by the captivating presence of hosts Saurav Das, Sauraseni Maitra, and Parambrata Chatterjee. The ceremony will feature enthralling performances by some of the industry’s brightest stars, including Nusrat Faria, Srabanti Chatterjee, Boni & Koushani, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Koel Mallick, Rudranil, and Ambarish.
