Subhas Bose Institute of Hotel Management Celebrated 162nd Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda

Subhas Bose Institute of Hotel Management (SBIHM) in association with Vivek Bharti Seva Trust, Belur Math celebrated the 162nd birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda with great fervour and enthusiasm on Friday, 12th January 2024, at SBIHM’s Newtown Campus, as part of the nationwide observance of National Youth Day. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Swami Sevaparananda Maharaj, Secretary, Vivek Bharti Seva Trust, Belur Math.

SBIHM welcomed Swami Sevaparananda Maharaj with heartfelt warmth and honoured him with garlands, expressing sincere cooperation from the northern region. Swami Sevaparananda Maharaj, in his enlightening address, added profound depth to the National Youth Day celebration, sharing insights into Swami Vivekananda’s teachings and philosophy.

The celebration at SBIHM featured a series of engaging activities, showcasing the talent and creativity of the students. The program included an opening song, Vedic mantra recitation, Swadesh Mantra recital and a lyrical yoga performance. These activities reflected the spirit of Swami Vivekananda’s ideals and principles.
