The much anticipated auction for the 6th edition of the Entrepreneur’s Premier League (EPL) was held in Kolkata on 22nd February. EPL 6.0 Khelo Cricket marked a significant milestone as it introduced the first-ever men’s and women’s leagues. Founded in 2021 by Anand Gupta, EPL grew from its initial three-team format to include ten dynamic teams, reflecting the increasing enthusiasm and participation in this unique entrepreneurial cricket league.
A total of 90 players competed, featuring six men’s teams and four women’s teams. Ten dedicated team owners supported and led their teams to success.
Anand Gupta, Founder of EPL, expressed his excitement about the auction and the league’s expansion, stating, “EPL 6.0 Khelo Cricket was not just about cricket; it was about building connections, inspiring leadership, and celebrating the entrepreneurial spirit. We were excited to see entrepreneurs come together, compete with passion, and create unforgettable memories both on and off the field.”
The auction event proved to be a thrilling spectacle as teams strategically built their squads, aiming for glory in the season. The matches provided an excellent platform for networking, team-building, and fostering a spirit of healthy competition among entrepreneurs.
