SVF in association with Bengall’s favourite restaurant “Aaheli” hosted an exquisite Poila Boishakh event on 1st April with team “The Eken – Ruddhaswas Rajasthan’ releasing on 14th April to commemorate the essence of the start of Bangalir Noboborsho. The entire cast, including the adored Eken Babu aka Anirban Chakrabarti, his two favourite friends Bappaditya Suhotra Mukhopadhyay and Pramatha – RJ Somak Ghosh, were in attendance. Sandipta Sen, the newest member of the franchise, was also there, as was franchise director Joydeep Mukherjee. The film also features, the talented and intelligent Rajesh Sharma and Rajatava Dutta. The film promises to present a fun- filled adventure set in the lively Rajasthan.
Aaheli – the restaurant chain of The Peerless Inn curated The Eken special thali comprising of exclusive 11 items in both their vegetarian and non-vegetarian section which was launched today in presence of the star-cast.
Anirban Chakrabarti our Maachey-Bhaatey Eken babu, expressed his excitement saying, “This time the story is grand and so our expectations. We have shot in Rajasthan which holds a very special place in our heart as the nostalgia of Sonar Kella hits hard. I hope the audience will connect and shower their love on us. And today here at Aahell, I really relived the memories of indulging myself in great spread especially with Bengali delicacies.”
The very talented RJ Somak and Suhotra Mukhopadhyay who plays the character of Pramatha and Bappaditya respectively says, “The encouragement is humongous, and we are extremely happy that this year also “The Eken – Ruddhaswas Rajasthan’ will be in theatres, during the Poila Boishakh – becoming synonymous with the occasion”.
Based on the story of late Sujan Dasgupta, the script and the dialogue for the movie is written by Padmanabha Dasgupta. The trailer of ‘The Eken – Ruddhaswas Rajasthan’ has already gamered a very good response from the audience. The franchise director, Joydeep Mukherjee was found saying, “After receiving a tremendous amount of feedback the previous year, the crew was really thrilled about the grand release again. This time, the case’s circumstances would cause Eken Babu to doubt everyone in his immediate vicinity. And I’m confident that the plot twists will have viewers on the edge of their seats. Last but not the least, Aahell is well known for its cuisine and knowing that they have curated Eken special thali which we launched today made me thrilled and overwhelmed.”
The talented Sandipta Sen, who will be seen in the role of a curator at the Jaisalmer Museum from Kolkata, said, “It was quite a fun experience shooting in the exotic locations of Rajasthan. The film promises to be an amazing ride for every audience group, and today at Aaheli I am completely devouring myself in the grand spread without a second thought Thankful to Aaheli for hosting a grand event for the whole team.”
The Eken – Ruddhaswas Rajasthan’ is set to release in theatres on 14 April ahead of the auspicious occasion of Bengali New Year.
